Sinek started his advertising career at Euro RSCG and Ogilvy & Mather in New York. Afterwards, he established Sinek Partners, his own company. Sinek is the author of five books. His debut book, Start With Why, was released in October 2009. The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times' bestseller lists both featured his second book, Leaders Eat Last. Sinek is a motivational speaker who has given speeches at TEDx conferences since 2009 and at the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit in 2016. According to The Young Turks, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) awarded Ernst & Young a $98,000 no-bid contract in June 2018 to conduct "customized Simon Sinek leadership training" between April 26 and May 15, 2018.
